Fredericton, NB (CAN), September 2007 - On October 2nd and 3rd, international speakers will be coming to Fredericton, New Brunswick to introduce mobile learning at a two-day workshop and technology summit event co-hosted by Red Hot Learning, LearnNB, and the eLearning Guild, the largest eLearning industry alliance in the world.
At the event, renowned speakers and experts in eLearning in the areas of mobile technology within healthcare, public health and safety, and training and education will introduce a national audience to the advantages of using mobile technology as a learning tool.
The international speakers are: Dr. John Traxler, University of Wolverhampton in the UK; Kevin Harvey from the Centre for the Advancement of Distance Education at the University of Illinois School for Public Health; Stella Lee from Athabasca University, and Inge de Waard from the Institute of Tropical Medicine in Antwerp, Belgium. During the keynote, Steve Wexler will unveil the principal findings from the recently published 2007 Guild Research 360° Report on Mobile Learning.
