ESN and Epic Team up for EU eLearning
Brighton (UK) / Brussels (BE), June 2007 – The EU has actively promoted eLearning for nearly a decade, but the European Commission itself has so far made very little use of eLearning. With help from European Service Network and its British sub-contractor, Epic, the Commission's Directorate-General for Enterprise and Industry has recently launched the first in a series of eLearning modules for the 3,000 staff of the EU-wide Euro Info Centre network. York (UK), June 2007 – The West Lothian Council has been using a tool from York-based MyKnowledgeMap (MKM) to analyse soft skills. The tool helps to highlight skills gaps within the organisation as a whole, as well as for specific departments and individuals.
