Ultimately, this will bring together 100,000 lawyers from 47 countries for the implementation of the European Convention on Human Rights. Aviva Hosts City Launch of Global Diversity Toolkit
London (UK), July 2007 - Aviva plc, the international savings, investments, and insurance group, has launched its global diversity learning resource, the "Respect Diversity Toolkit", at an event attended by HR professionals from FTSE 100 employers including Barclays, Goldman Sachs, UBS, BT, HSBC, and Shell. The launch, which took place at Aviva's London headquarters, was held in association with Diverse Culture and NB Global Diversity Practice, who worked with Aviva to produce the toolkit. [more...]

York (UK), July 2007 – The UK's largest-scale exercise in mobile education to date is helping 9,000 students throughout Yorkshire to assess their own competencies via their phones and related handheld devices. The Assessment and Learning in Practice Settings project (ALPS) aims to ensure that the graduates, studying sixteen different subjects from a wide range of health and social care courses, have the skills needed to be effective in the workplace.
