Familiarize Yourself with the Chinese Market

Shanghai (CN), October 2011 - The IADIS Internet Technologies & Society 2011 Conference (ITS 2011) is being held in Shanghai, China on 08-10 December 2011. It addresses the main issues of concern regarding the worldwide web and assesses the influence of the internet on the information society.




This Conference is organised by the non-profit association IADIS - the International Association for Development of the Information Society and co-organised by the East China Normal University. Areas that will be addressed during the Conference include e-Society and Digital Divide, eLearning, e-Government, and e-Health.

Keynote speakers include Dr. Henk W. Sligte of the Universiteit van Amsterdam (NL), George Siemens of the Technology Enhanced Knowledge Research Institute, Athabasca University (CA) and Prof. Gao Hong Qing, Dean of Network Centre of He Nan Normal University (CN).



The opening speech will be delivered by Prof. Ren You Qun, Vice President East China Normal University (CN).

The official conference language is English. The blind peer-reviewed conference proceedings will be submitted for indexing to INSPEC, EI Compendex, Thomson ISI, ISTP, and other indexing services.
