Fifth International Plagiarism Conference
Newcastle upon Tyne (UK), February 2012 - The 2012 International Plagiarism Conference celebrates ten years of pioneering research in this area. The fifth biennial event is being held 16-18 July 2012 in Sage Gateshead, Newcastle upon Tyne, UK and showcases innovative practices from around the globe.
The Conference promotes approaches to authentic assessment, which place the student at the heart of the learning process. It combines personal best practices with approaches to assessment, which both address plagiarism and support a high-quality learning experience along with strategies for managing the issue from an institutional level. Now in its fifth iteration, the Conference has established a reputation as a forum for worldwide good practice in this area and attracts practitioners in education at all levels.
