This conference promotes the development and dissemination of theoretical knowledge, conceptual research, and professional knowledge through conference activities, the conference proceedings book, and the Turkish Online Journal of Educational Technology (TOJET). Its focus is to create and disseminate knowledge about the use of instructional technology for learning and teaching in education.

The official languages of the conference are English, Turkish, and Chinese. Proposals can be sent and be presented in any of the three languages. However, only English papers will be published in Procedia of Social and Behavioral Science Journal.

TOJET (in SSCI) will publish two special issues for IETC 2012. After the peer-review process, selected papers will be published in October 2012 and January 2013 issues.

The proposal and abstract submission deadline is 02 July, with full papers to be received by 04 July 2012, the same day that registration closes. Authors will be informed about the acceptance of their submission within four to five days.
