eLearning Africa Photo Competition
Cotonou (BEN), March 2012 - The third annual eLearning Africa Photo Competition is now underway. This year's theme is "The African Century: ICTs Inspiring Innovation". The deadline for entries is 16 April 2012.
ICTs are increasingly present in everyday African life, enhancing the way we live, learn, cooperate, and connect. How have ICTs inspired you? How is technology fostering innovation in individuals and communities in Africa? Let us see this through your eyes! Share your pictures, and send us a brief description outlining the inspiration behind your idea.
The winners will be selected by a jury, and the prizes for the top three photos are
- 1st prize: Canon PowerShot S95 Digital Camera
- 2nd prize: Sony DCR-SX45EB SD Camcorder
- 3rd prize: Samsung Galaxy Y S5360 Smartphone
The ten best photos will be featured in an exhibition from 23-25 May at eLearning Africa 2012 in Cotonou, Benin. The winners will also be announced on the eLearning Africa website and featured in the eLearning Africa newsletter.
Late entries will not be considered. The winners will be informed by email four weeks after the closing date at the latest. The prize can neither be transferred nor paid out in cash.
eLearning Africa is the Continent's largest gathering of high-level policy makers, decision makers, and practitioners from education, business, and government. It is the key networking event for developing eLearning capacities in Africa.
