EDEN Conference: Complete Programme Now Online
Porto (PT), May 2012 - The detailed programme of the 2012 Eden Conference in Porto from 06-09 June is now online. Over 100 papers, 50 posters, 15 workshops, interactive webinars and demonstrations highlight the state of the art in ICT-supported learning in Europe and beyond.
The annual conference will approach the key questions of learning methodology and technology, focusing on the "open-learning generations" in the context of socially significant target groups: junior and senior e-learners. Participants will explore their learning cultures and technology-use patterns and also discuss new approaches in pedagogy and andragogy that respond to them.
The 2012 annual conference is intensively supported and accompanied by social networking, sharing, online presence, and involvement possibilities.
This is strengthened by and implemented through the EDEN Members Portal: the NAP area on the web and its services, with the important backing and support of the Steering Committee of the EDEN Network of academics and professionals.
The tradition of awarding the EDEN Conference Best Research Paper will be continued, in collaboration with the Ulrich Bernath Foundation for Open and Distance Learning.
To register, participants are asked to use the online registration form. The Conference fee includes all conference facilities, the Conference Proceedings on CD-ROM, the Book of Abstracts, the Welcome Reception on 06 June, as well as lunches and coffees 07-09 June.
