European Association for International Education (EAIE)

Dublin (IE), June 2012 - Expand your horizons in international higher education and join the EAIE Annual Conference in Dublin, Ireland, 11-14 September 2012. This year's theme is "Rethinking Education, Reshaping Economies".

The EAIE is the European centre for expertise, networking, and resources in the internationalisation of higher education. It is a non-profit, member-led organisation serving individuals actively involved in the internationalisation of their institutions.

Higher-education professionals from around the world will meet at Europe's largest international post-secondary conference, the EAIE Annual Conference in Dublin this September to exchange ideas, learn from best practices, and debate policies and the hottest topics in the field.

Education is playing an increasingly significant role in maintaining economic sustainability. Higher-education institutions are now expected to contribute to economic development in addition to their basic role of education. Greater cooperation between academe and stakeholders is vital for aiding this process. The 2012 EAIE Conference provides an arena for extensive discussions on the challenges and opportunities for all involved in rethinking education and reshaping economies.

The Conference offers sessions on latest developments, interactive workshops, dialogues, poster sessions, campus tours, and networking events. Early-bird registration ends 27 June.

In 2013, the EAIE will hold its 25th Annual Conference on 10-13 September in Istanbul; the theme is "Weaving the Future of Global Partnerships".
