Speexx Exchange 2012 - a Great Success

Munich (GER), December 2012 - Four cities, 400 attendees and dozens of inspiring presentations and discussions. Speexx Exchange 2012 is over for this year and proved yet another resounding success.




Speexx Exchange is a global forum focusing on talent management, empowering communication, and technology-based learning. It fosters the continuous exchange among industry experts, eLearning specialists and experienced HR and L&D managers based on practical issues. In addition to the annual conference series, Speexx conducts a survey each year to reveal current trends and attitudes of the industry. The Speexx Exchange Blog offers further opportunities to discuss topics such as talent management, cloud-based systems, and eLearning in a globalized world. Paris, Madrid, Milan, and Berlin, this year's Speexx Exchange events did an in-depth reality check on the state of the eLearning industry. There were more than 400 attendees from over twenty countries representing global brands and NGOs such as Richemont, Airbus, Nokia, Ericsson, Vodafone, and the African Development Bank. Industry experts and L&D and HR Managers from all over the world made up an international audience from a variety of fields, which made the event highly diverse and so much more valuable.


Speexx Exchange 2012 kicked off in Paris. On 13 November, the Salon des Miroirs venue in Paris filled with eLearning experts and L&D specialists for half a day to share international findings and opinions on the current state of the eLearning industry. Among the speaker panel were Pascal Debordes of CEGOS, Olivier Charbonnier of Interface, Zofia Sorokowska of Bel, and Pascal Bignier of IGPDE. The Conference was followed by cocktails and some great networking opportunities with numerous global organizations.


On 21 November around 100 attendees gathered at the Cámara de Comercio Alemana para Espana in Madrid, with yet another fantastic lineup of experts, including Luis Huete of TopTen Management, Juan Carlos González of AEDIPE, Maite Sáenz of the Observatorio Recursos Humanos magazine, Mario Stofenmacher of CEGOS, and Enrique Díaz of GREF. Recent research findings, studies, and discussions gave attendees unique insight into the latest eLearning trends, leaving them hungry for next year's event.


In Milan on 27 November, Speexx Exchange was organized as part of the Forum delle Risorse Umane, one of the most important events in Italy dedicated to the HR sector. The speaker panel consisted of Agnese Calcagno, Coaching and Individual Learning Manager at Vodafone; Marcello Bugari, Academy Responsible at Reale Mutua Assicurazione; Maria Zaccone, Vice-president at HR Trawell Ltd - TeamUSA Incentives; and Maurizio Morselli, Executive Development Consultant and Professor.


The final Speexx Exchange edition in Berlin, on 28 November, featured Laura Overton of Towards Maturity UK, Rebecca Grajecki of Richemont, Pascald Debordes of CEGOS, and Awuese Oku of the African Development Bank. They presented topics ranging from data protection in global organizations to latest research studies of the international eLearning market and the challenges of a multinational and diverse workforce. Attendees enjoyed hands-on best-practice insights and exchanged views with leading industry experts.
