Fourth Year in a Row

Speexx Named Platinum Winner of e-Excellence 2013

Munich (GER), February 2013 - Speexx, a global provider of online corporate communication- skills training, has been awarded its fourth Seal of e-Excellence in a row. Speexx was selected for the highest category (Platinum) and will be honoured with the prestigious Seal at the forthcoming CeBIT conference in Hannover, Germany.

The European Seal of e-Excellence recognises outstanding technological achievements by information and communication technology (ICT) and digital-media companies. Awarded annually since 2003 by EMF, the Forum of e-Excellence, the Seal represents public recognition of winners that have delivered an innovative product to meet current business needs. There are three levels of distinctions for the Seal: Platinum, Gold, and Silver.

Between April and December 2012, more than 100 global organisations sent in applications for the prestigious European Seal of e-Excellence 2013 by presenting recent innovations and developments in their products and services. The judging panel consisted of experienced investors, entrepreneurs, and experts in the ICT sector, who selected the top 31 applicants for a 2013 Platinum, Gold, and Silver Seal. For the fourth year in a row, Speexx was awarded a Seal, this time coming among the top four organisations chosen for the Platinum category.

Armin Hopp, Founder and President of Speexx, comments, "Once again in 2013, it is a great honour for Speexx to be selected for the European Seal of e-Excellence Award - and particularly for a Platinum Seal. As a provider of innovative cloud-based language-learning solutions, this distinction shows that Speexx continues to fulfil the highest qualitative and educational standards. Speexx offers the 'Perfect Blend' - the ideal combination of self-paced online language-learning tools and high-quality communication-skills training by native speakers. The Seal of e-Excellence Award is yet another testimony to our success, and we are extremely proud of this accolade."

The official award ceremony will be held as part of CeBIT, the world's largest and most international IT trade fair. The 2013 edition convenes in Hanover, Germany on 05 March.
