SXSWedu and EdTech Europe Partner for 2015 Events
London (UK), February, 2015 - EdTech Europe, a leading education-technology-focused conference platform in Europe, has extended its partnership with SXSWedu, an energetic and innovative education- sector event in the USA. The collaboration will see EdTech Europe powering two "European All Stars" events featuring leading European startups and corporate executives as part of the March conference programme in Texas. Reciprocally, SXSWedu Executive Producer Ron Reed and a selection of US education influencers will attend the EdTech Europe London event on 18 June 2015 - all with the aim of bridging the gap between the two markets and championing the dissemination of talent and consolidation of investment in this growing sector.
At SXSWedu in Austin, Texas, the two European All Stars sessions powered by EdTech Europe will be held on 10 March and provide insights into the European market for US delegates. The first Morning Mixer Event will offer exclusive industry perspectives directly from CEOs and founders of twelve successful European startups. The Morning Mixer will include pitches and networking opportunities with European startups babbel, bettermarks, bibblio, Bridge U, busuu, Immerse, Labster, Lecturio, myblee, Primo, sofatutor, and The Student Room.
The second session, European EdTech: Industry Leaders Share Lessons Learnt, will allow delegates to hear from industry executives including Kelli Campbell, SVP Discovery Communications; Rob Grimshaw, CEO of TES Global; and Charles McIntyre, CEO of IBIS Capital and Co-Founder of EdTech Europe. The panellists will share their tried-and-tested strategies on how to be successful in the European EdTech industry.
