Online Summer School Enrollment Open To K-12 Students
Baltimore, MD (USA), May 2015 - Enrollment is open for an online summer school at International Connections Academy (iNaCA), the accredited virtual private school serving students in grades K-12 in the United States and across the globe. Families are invited to attend an information session to learn more about the benefits of the program.
Hannah Rinehart, iNaCA Principal, shares the top four reasons why families enroll in iNaCA's online summer school program:
- Open Access: No matter where they live, parents worldwide can keep their students engaged academically online this summer. Students can enroll in one or multiple iNaCA online summer school courses.
- Enriching Curriculum: There are more than 100 courses available for students in grades K-12 to explore, including original credit and credit recovery courses, world languages, Career and Technical Education (CTE), Summer Smarts math, language arts, and NCAA-eligible courses.
- Rolling Enrollment Dates: Course sessions can complement a family's busy summer schedule, with options to start Summer School on 02, 09, 16, 23, and 30 June, or 07 July.
- Transferable Credits: High school students can confirm that they will be granted credit for iNaCA Summer School courses by submitting a pre-approval form to their school.
"Thousands of students have discovered that the online summer school learning environment is really engaging. Students can take their courses when and where they want, without having to choose between academics and other summer activities like getting a job, spending time with family and friends, and traveling," Rinehart said.
Younger learners also enjoy the enrichment of online summer school courses. Amelia, a six-year-old who attends kindergarten at a traditional public school, will be returning to iNaCA's online program this summer to take a Spanish course. In a brief video available online, Amelia describes her experience with online summer school.
All iNaCA Summer School courses use Connection Education's research-based, award-winning curriculum and are accessible and secure from any location with an Internet connection, so students can learn in their homes or on vacation 24/7.
