London (UK), July 2015 - EdTech 20 recognises eLearning companies that have shown the most significant innovation and growth over the last year and whose businesses are primarily based within Europe. Inclusion in EdTech 20 is determined by a global panel of judges who evaluate various factors including revenue growth, scale, innovation, and market impact.
During the closing cocktail reception of the EdTech Europe 2015 summit, the organizers announced the twenty finalists and three winners of the 2015 EdTech 20 competition. These twenty innovative companies will receive prizes from our partners, Hootsuite and Prezi, and the three winners will also be afforded the opportunity to travel around the world with EdTech Europe to partner events, such as SXSWedu in the US and Slush in Finland.
