International Blended Learning: Learning in Diversity
Ashridge (UK), January 2016 - Today's managers and employees must acquire, assimilate, and apply knowledge much faster and efficiently to meet organisational goals. In a competitive and fast-paced environment, blended learning and collaboration are central to executive and management learning. Ashridge helps people to better understand blended learning in an international arena and how to empower learning through diverse experiences.
Ashridge Executive Education adopt an experiential ethos to executive learning supported by extensive virtual learning support through the Virtual Ashridge product. This includes global access to online material, live webinars, online action learning sessions, and collaborative platforms.
The session at Learning Technologies will introduce the concept of the International Collaborative Partnership Programme (ICPP), showcasing how senior executives and practising managers can collaborate with international partners across time zones and work with client businesses to deliver innovative solutions to strategic challenges.
These strategic projects took place in Canada, the USA, India, Sri Lanka, and Denmark, working with prominent global businesses in the technology, consumer goods, energy, and manufacturing sectors.
Ashridge will aim to demonstrate how ICPP Strategic Projects is an ideal blended-learning method for busy managers, not only to share insight and best practices, but also to develop essential skills.
Ashridge will discuss how small collaborative teams worked internationally with diverse groups to deliver innovative results within short deadlines. We will highlight the benefits, challenges and new opportunities we built through the ICPP.
