Representatives Inspired by Norwegian Schools
Oslo (NO), January 2008 - A group of UK education authorities have spent two days in Oslo observing how their Norwegian colleagues are using ICT technology in education. Education in the UK is receiving a great deal of attention, as government policies and initiatives aim to 'Build Schools for the Future' and equip students with the skills that they will need in their working life ahead.
The group, hosted by Fronter, was taken to the Elvebakken Secondary and Kastellet Primary schools, where they were able to see how technology such as the Fronter Open Learning Platform has revolutionised the learning process for both students and teachers.
Receiving both practical and theoretical information on the Fronter learning platform and its application, guests were also received at the British Ambassador's Residence, where the importance of Norwegian-British cooperation was acknowledged and reiterated.
