Long-Term Planning

Two EIfEL Events Coming up in January '09

Paris (FR), October 2008 - The next iLearning Forum International Conference and Exhibition will take place at the Palais des Congrès, Paris on 19-20 January 2009. This year's event will be enriched by a parallel event, RAC 2009 - the first francophone and international conference on the recognition and validation of achievement and competencies.

The theme of this year's iLearning Forum is 'Integrated learning: embedding learning technologies for individual and organisational development'. Join international learning professional colleagues to encounter and explore state-of-the-art practice in the use of technology for education and the development and management of human resources.

The objective of RAC 2009 is to explore the state of the art in the field of recognition and accreditation of competencies to encourage policy and decision makers to design advanced policies and practitioners to take on board the most advanced practices in a field of rapid progression.

The call for contributions deadline has been extended for both iLearning Forum and RAC 2009: Contributions in English and French are invited; the new deadline for receipt of abstracts (min 500, max 750 words) is 15 October. Proposals are welcomed for work in progress, case-studies, workshops, or research papers.

Following the success of iLearning Forum 2008, the exhibition space has been doubled to welcome its 5000+ visitors. The event offers an opportunity unique in France to showcase your products and services to an international audience.

Access to the exhibition as well as the Open Forum, where visitors are invited to explore real-life case studies and demonstrations, is free. Pre-registration is recommended for quick and easy access to the event.

You can also enter you organisation for the iLearning Awards. The objective of the iLearning Awards is to celebrate the achievements of organisations that have demonstrated a clear vision of learning as a process embedded in every moment and activity of an organisation's life.
