Villach (AT), January 2009 - ICL 2009 will be held from 23 - 25 September 2009 in Villach, Austria. This interdisciplinary conference focuses on the exchange of relevant trends and research results as well as the presentation of practical experience in interactive computer-aided learning, especially in engineering education.
The main topics of 2009 will be Semantic Technologies, Educational MashUps, Collaborative Learning Environments, and ePortfolios.
The conference chair is Michael E. Auer of Carinthia Tech Institute (CTI) in Villach.
The event is organized by the Carinthia University of Applied Sciences in Villach, in conjunction with many outstanding international partners from Africa, Asia, Australia, Latin America, the Middle East, and North America.
Proposals for conference contributions in various formats are invited. The deadline for the submission of extended, two-page abstracts is 15 May 2009. Proposals for short papers, demos, workshops, tutorials, posters, and round tables must arrive by 29 May. Pilot projects, applications, and products from the field are also welcome.
All accepted submissions will be published in the ICL2009 proceedings (with ISBN).
