ALT and eLearning Network Announce Lunchtime Webinars

Oxford (UK), May 2009 - The Association for Learning Technology and the eLearning Network are running a series of free ninety-minute lunchtime webinars. The first webinar in the series, Using Webinars for Real-Time Learning, on 01 May had over ninety bookings.




The following webinars are available in June and October 2009:

  • 16 June - Serious Games - with Professor Sara De Freitas of the Serious Games Institute, at Coventry University and Christopher Brannigan from Caspian Learning - booking deadline 09 Jun 2009
  • 15 October - Video on a Shoestring - with James Clay of Gloucestershire College and Rob Hubbard of LearningAge Solutions - booking deadline 09 Oct 2009.

All webinars will be run using Elluminate Live. Participants will be notified of the concrete arrangements approximately seven days prior to the webinar in question, giving them time to get your PC or Mac set up and tested.

All webinars will start at 12 noon UK time. Each will have two presenters whose twenty-minute presentations will be followed by five-ten minutes for session-related questions. After the second session, there will be a facilitated open discussion involving both presenters.
