Conference on Education, Economy, and Society
Paris (FR), June 2009 - To be held in central Paris from 21-24 July 2010, this conference is a forum, discussion, and networking place for academics, researchers, professionals, administrators, educational leaders, policy makers, and industry representatives interested in education. All areas of education are invited, as are related economic, political, cultural, and social themes.
The first edition of the Paris International Conference on Education, Economy and Society was held in July 2008. More than 500 academics and practitioners from 50 countries attended the meeting. More than 450 contributions were presented, covering all major themes of education.
The conference is organized by Analytrics, a not-for-profit organisation of academics, researchers, and professionals in education, economics, law, and social sciences. Analytrics is particularly interested in analyses, methodologies, measurement, and applied statistics in the field of human and social sciences. Members' interests and expertise include such areas as edumetrics, sociometrics, and econometrics.
Proposals will be accepted in the form of abstracts. Presentation formats are individual paper sessions, symposia, workshops, roundtables, and poster sessions. The languages of the conference are English and French.
The closing date for early bird registration is 1 July 2009. Deadline for abstracts submissions is 10 October 2009.
