Tenth Edition to be Held in Paris in January 2010
Paris (FR), November 2009 - iLearning Forum Paris 2010, the francophone event in the world of eLearning, will be held on 18-19 January 2010, at the Palais des Congrès de Paris. iLearning Forum Paris is the only exhibition and conference dedicated to eLearning in the French-speaking world. The 2010 edition features an international exhibition of eLearning solutions and services and a free two-day conference in French and English.
Over forty exhibitors from ten countries have confirmed their participation. The expo features the French market leaders in eLearning, HRD, and talent management, highlighted by the participation of Cornerstone, Demos, Cross Knowledge, and eDoceo as "Gold Sponsors" of the event.
For the 2010 edition, a significant rise in visitor numbers - to over 5,000 - is expected thanks to two key factors: the imperative to cut travel and training costs during the economic recession and a redoubled marketing-communications campaign aimed at reaching more French and multinational companies with training departments. Notably, for this edition, ILF2010 has partnered with the French association of HR directors, who will be presenting at the conference and promoting the event to their 5,000 members in France.
Thanks to the immense popularity of the free workshops last year, the organizers have doubled the conference area to accommodate increased demand from both visitors and exhibitors.
For this edition, the free conference features themed tracks that cover
- case studies of eLearning and talent management in France and Europe
- the latest learning technologies, with special focus on mobile learning and social networking
- instructional design
- language learning
- learning-management strategies
- eLearning round the world: news, reports, studies, research, and project case studies from India, Russia, Africa, Canada, the Middle East, and Latin America.
"Having managed this event for ten years now, I am pleased to witness the huge progress this industry has made in a decade. It has gone through cycles of hype and unrealistic expectations, rationalization, depression, and now re-growth, featuring a learner-centric, second generation of tools and technologies. Thanks to our regular exhibitors and new partners, we are able to offer an exciting, free program of workshops and keynotes covering - in just two days - all the keys to success a training manager needs", declares Sally-Ann Moore, Managing Director and founder of iLearning Forum.
