Learning and Development: The Next Five Years
Bristol/Milton Keynes (UK), February 2010 - The British Institute for Learning and Development (BILD) is to hold its annual conference on 10 June 2010 at the Open University in Milton Keynes. The conference provides an opportunity for L&D professionals to update their knowledge of a range of initiatives to better equip and engage learners and increase the impact of learning.
There is increasing emphasis on learning, skills, and qualifications, and their acquisition is positioned at a high level on the UK's national education agenda. This places considerable responsibility on the learning and development profession to consider the ways in which new and potential learners can develop skills for their job or for career and leadership development in the workplace.
