Submissions Open for International eLearning Awards

New York, NY (USA), May 2010 - The International eLearning Association (IELA) has announced its first annual International eLearning Awards. The Awards will be given for successful courses, sites, and products in three categories: eLearning, blended learning, and mobile learning.




Each category includes awards in both the academic and business divisions. The entry fee for submission is $99 USD; IELA members pay a reduced fee of $79.The winners will be announced in September at the ICL Conference in Hasselt, Belgium, though submitters do not need to come to Belgium in order to win an Award.

The IELA Awards Committee, who will look for a variety of attributes, will evaluate the submissions. The attributes include, among other things, educational soundness and effectiveness, usability, and overall significance.

The International ELearning Association is a leading international group that brings together researchers and practitioners in all forms of eLearning. IELA's sponsorship of international conferences and journals, along with its strong membership base, continue to advance the state of the art of the eLearning field worldwide in the academic and business areas.

Submissions for the 2010 International ELearning Awards are due by July 10, 2010.
