Participate in the Advancement of eLearning in Iran
Tehran (IR), October 2010 - Amirkabir University of Technology (AUT) has announced the fifth National and second International Conference on E-learning and E-teaching (ICELET2010), to be held 1-2 December 2010 in Tehran, Iran. ICELET is the premier conference in Iran for presentation of advances in all aspects of eLearning and e-teaching.
The Conference aspires to provide an international forum for engineers and scientists in academia, industry, and government to present and discuss their latest research findings in this field and to identify emerging future challenges.
The Honorary Chair is Dr. Alireza Rahai, and the General Chair Dr. Masoud Sabaei. The keynote speakers are Dr. Hirumi, who will discuss "Systemic and Systematic Approaches to eLearning: Designing and Integrating Key System Components for 21st-century Learners" and Dr. Mackintosh on "Crossing the Open Education Resource Chasm: from Advocacy to Organizational Implementation."
The Conference will focus on the following main topic areas:
- technological and engineering aspects of learning
- learning/teaching: design, methodology, and assessment
- quality, evaluation and accreditation policies
- social, cultural, and ethical issues in eLearning
- eLearning strategic issues
- domain applications and case studies
Workshops will be available to focus on specific topics related to eLearning and to provide background necessary to understand technical advances in the eLearning domain. Some papers will be delivered through a webinar.
