Fourth eLearning Baltics - eLBa 2011

Rostock (GER), April 2011 - This year's eLearning Baltics (eLBa) takes place 26-27 May 2011 in Rostock at the Radisson Blu Hotel. Now in its fourth year, this international conference brings together researchers, practitioners, and scientists: people using and people producing eLearning products and services.




eLBa 2011 covers different aspects of teaching and learning with digital media. It addresses different target groups for eLearning and brings together people from various disciplines, such as computer science, education, psychology, and design.



eLBa 2011 consists of the following components:

  • eLBa Business - a primarily German-speaking business congress and a user forum with workshops;
  • eLBa Science - a multilingual (English/German) international scientific conference;
  • eLBa Exhibition - an exhibition presenting recent innovations and services in the area of eLearning close to the conference rooms;
  • eLBa Pre-Conference Workshops - six Workshops on 25 May.

Registration for the conference is now open. The fee is 279 euros plus VAT for regular participants and 179 euros plus VAT for GI members. Of the six pre-Conference workshops five are free of charge.

The eLBa 2011 conference is hosted by the Netzwerk E_LEARNING@MV under the umbrella of the IT Initiative Mecklenburg-Vorpommern e. V. It is supported by the Ministry of Economics, Labour and Tourism Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, the German Chapter of the ACM, the Gesellschaft für Informatik (GI), and the Association Rostock denkt 365 Grad e.V.
