Epic Announces the Official Launch of gomo 2.0
London (UK), April 2014 - Epic has announced the official launch of its brand-new authoring tool gomo 2.0, created by Epic's Learning Technologies Group (LTG) sister company gomo learning. gomo is the first SaaS authoring tool that allows users to create their own fully responsive and adaptive HTML5 eLearning.
The wait is finally over for an authoring tool that can publish content that works automatically on desktops, smartphones, and tablet devices. There is no authoring tool like gomo on the market, and it will be constantly evolving and updating to meet the needs of its users.
Managing Director Mike Alcock said, "We are delighted to be releasing gomo. Having shown the product at several exhibitions across the world, it’s clear that there’s a huge demand for an online authoring eLearning tool that creates truly responsive and adaptive HTML5 content. Too many legacy standalone desktop tools just cannot cope with the modern multi-device world. They still force users to create multiple versions of courses or just fail to deliver content to tablets or smartphones. gomo solves all of these problems and, because it’s in the cloud, users can collaborate and start work straight away."
It is the most cost-effective way to create beautiful multi-device content from scratch. From just £49 a month, individuals and teams can build, customise, and publish their own eLearning programmes, making this a budget-friendly tool for organisations of any size.
gomo shares a position in the dynamic Learning Technologies Group (LTG) alongside eLearning experts Epic, who have played a pivotal role in contributing to the new authoring tool with 27 years of eLearning expertise. Epic’s specialist knowledge of mobile technology and multi-device learning design ensures that gomo benefits from a solid heritage and has best-practice learning design at its forefront.
gomo has enjoyed successful market launches in the UK at the Learning Technologies exhibition in London and in the US at Learning Solutions in Orlando. It will be appearing at mLearnCon and DevLearn later in 2014.
