Shanghai (CN), October 2008 - John Bryce Training, the Training and Deployment Division of Matrix, has won a project to conduct several dozen training cycles to qualify employees of the Chinese telecom firm Shanghai Mobile in the field of Cisco telephony solutions. The courses will be conducted at the John Bryce Training Centre in Shanghai over several months.
Shanghai Mobile is a subsidiary of the giant China Mobile, the largest cellular supplier in the world, with more than 220 million subscribers. Shanghai Mobile itself has some 20 million subscribers in the Shanghai area. It provides digital cellular services, IP telephony, Internet, and other data communication services.
"In light of a massive technological change that the Chinese company is undergoing, additional training cycles of similar scope are planned in the Oracle and Java areas within the framework of the training activity", says Ori Lapid, VP Technologies at John Bryce Training.
In the last year, John Bryce Training has established successful training operations in three central Chinese cities. The activity is conducted in cooperation with PTL, a local company managed by Zvika Shalgo that assists Israeli firms interested in penetrating the Chinese market. As part of this cooperation, PTL provides John Bryce Training with services in the areas of logistics, human resources, and management.
