Cegos Group and dp Sign Cooperation Contract
Munich (GER)/Issy-les-Moulineaux (FR), January 2009 - Cegos Group, the European leader in professional development, and German language-training experts digital publishing have signed an agreement to promote their respective eLearning training courses. From now on, Cegos is offering its customers language training and, for its part, digital publishing is becoming an official partner for the "eLearning Solutions by Cegos" range.
For the first time in its history the Cegos Group is offering its customers the opportunity to follow blended-learning language courses. "Many customers ask us whether we can provide eLearning that addresses both crossfunctional skills and learning languages. Our partnership with one of the pioneers of online language training can therefore be seen in terms of a simplification of the management of company's eLearning provision", explained Jacques Coquerel, Chairman of the Cegos Group.
For its part, digital publishing is becoming a partner in the entire "eLearning Solutions by Cegos" catalogue wherever Cegos has a presence. Alan Nobili, Director General of digital publishing SAS in France: "We are happy to enrich the Cegos catalogue with our offer of professional language training. Thanks to this collaboration, our customers will benefit from an efficient and particularly complete solution for personal and professional development of their human resources in a global environment."
In general the eLearning and blended-learning solutions make learning and development easier to do, less time consuming, and more cost effective. The online language training provided by digital publishing is based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Available in sixteen interface languages, it offers training in English, German, Spanish, Italian, and French. Specific modules have been created dealing with business language, industries, and the preparation for major linguistic tests.
More than 150 "eLearning Solutions by Cegos" modules are already available in most European languages (French, English, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, and Russian) and in Mandarin. In the next phase, modules in Korean and Japanese will also be offered.
