Unisys content partner of LearningGuide Solutions
Atterbury (UK) / Amsterdam (NL), April 2009 - LearningGuide Solutions has closed a partnership with Unisys. As a supplier of Electronic Content Management (ECM) systems, Unisys is content partner for the learning solution LearningGuide. Unisys will provide content in relation to Open Text eDOCS and EMC-Documentum.
"Unisys has many years of experience with ECM implementations. The exchange of knowledge among colleagues and employees plays an important part in this and is key for success", says Ton van Setten, Director Public Sector the Netherlands at Unisys. "We have identified a great interest in the use of electronic resources for education. Classroom training has been shortened and the 'learning' takes place in the workplace. On past projects, we have successfully worked together with the leading supplier of electronic education and support solutions, LearningGuide Solutions."
"We are continuously looking for new content for our clients", says Charl Giesen, Business Development Manager at LearningGuide Solutions. "Our strategy is to cooperate with leading enterprises in the market. Unisys is a logical choice when it comes to Open Text eDOCS and EMC-Documentum. It also extends our learning solutions for content management systems, which currently include SharePoint and FileNet."
LearningGuide not only describes the functionality of the application, but also describes the context, including procedures, roles, guidelines, and policies. However, application versions change over time, menus are differently structured, and new functionalities are added. These new features and working instructions can easily be distributed to end users via LearningGuide. This gives the development of knowledge permanence, and helps employees achieve maximum performance in the use of ECM solutions.
In this cooperation, Unisys NL will be responsible for keeping the content for Open Text eDOCS and EMC-Documentum up to date. This basic content can quickly and easily be enriched with client specific processes, policies, and procedures. The service is offered in yearly contracts or based on individual project agreements.
