dp Proves Excellence in Marketing

Hanover/Munich (GER), April 2010 - For the eighth consecutive year, the European Multimedia Forum (EMF) and its national and regional partner associations have honored ICT and digital media companies with the Seals of e-Excellence. For 2010, digital publishing received the Platinum Award.

This prestigious European award confirms dp's excellent track record in the marketing of digital products and services. Following an open-application process by a panel of expert judges, the winners were officially announced at CeBIT in Hanover, the European trade show for the ICT industry.

Evaluating the entries, the judges of the Seal of e-Excellence 2010 focused on groundbreaking products and services and excellent marketing practices. At the awards ceremony, Margaretha Mazura, EMF Secretary-General, declared, "Once again, we are proud to award 33 winners from 12 countries. Thus far, the ICT has been better able to globally resist the recent financial and economic downturn. Innovation, quality, and customer orientation are at the core of its comparative success, as is amply demonstrated again by the success stories of this year's Seal winners."

"Europe has very strong technological assets in ICT, which can be leveraged through strong marketing actions into world-class products and services. By now, the community of Seal winners constitutes a prime showcase of excellence in innovation marketing that demonstrates to the world what we can do", she added.

Awarded annually since 2003, the coveted Seals are widely known for recognising innovative companies. Armin Hopp, digital publishing's CEO, was overwhelmed when accepting the award. "We work closely with our users in the product-development process, and this affiliation also guides us on how to market and deliver our product. We will continue, at all times, to lead the path of innovation towards securing the future of inventive online language-learning methods. The Platinum award shows us that our efforts are being recognised."

digital publishing's online language school, CLT, is a high-capacity platform for computer-based language training in both the Corporate world and learning institutions. It combines all the advantages of classic live training for groups or individuals with computer-based forms of learning.

The course system consists of a blend of award-winning educational software, online tutoring, effective live training, and an official certification system for independent quality assurance, all of which are combined to meet the needs of the individual student.
