Milton Keynes (UK), October 2010 - Raytheon Professional Services LLC (RPS), a subsidiary of Raytheon Company, has launched accredited qualifications that are delivered via virtual classroom training and a collaborative learning approach.
All qualifications are accredited by the Institute of Leadership & Management, the U.K.'s premier awarding body for leadership and management qualifications. The Internet-based technology enables full interaction among students, trainers, and peers and is designed to maximize the practical application of skills and knowledge back into the workplace.
Anita Douglas, RPS business development director, says, "The economic slowdown has led many organizations to reduce their training budgets. Innovative learning solutions are needed if we are to reduce time away from the workplace and improve skills. RPS currently offers Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications in a variety of courseware. These include Coaching and Mentoring Qualifications and Effective Team-Member Qualifications.
Coaching and mentoring programmes are designed to equip managers (from potential managers to senior managers) with the knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to coach and mentor their team members to deliver business results. The effective team-membership qualifications are designed to support individuals to work more effectively within a team environment in an organization.
