Free Interactive eBooks as a Tool to Retain Knowledge
Stroud (UK), October 2011 - Balance Learning has launched "Coaching for Performance", the first in a range of interactive eBooks to complement its off-the-shelf eLearning programmes. Chris Horseman, MD of Balance Learning, says, "As learning events are becoming shorter and more focused, there is an increased chance of information being forgotten. Our interactive eBooks provide learners with a customisable resource that can be accessed from anywhere just before applying the new skill."
We decided to make these eBooks free add-ons to our eLearning programmes to provide increased value to our customers until the end of 2011."
Tim Drewitt from Eversheds LLP adds, "Our firm is piloting the use of Blackberrys as learning tools in conjunction with conventional eLearning, and we see the role of mobile learning as providing immediate and practical information that our lawyers can put into use on the job at the precise moment of need - also reinforcing and embedding what they might have learned in the past."
Balance learning has a range of twenty eLearning programmes for management development, customer service, and compliance, as well as classroom resource packs, interactive DVD learning programmes, a 360 survey tool, and customisable corporate e-Induction modules.
