REDTRAY Expands to Nordic Region
London (UK)/Copenhagen (PK), February 2012 - After observing increasing demand in cloud-based learning solutions in northern Europe, the UK training provider REDTRAY is expanding its services to Denmark, Iceland, Greenland, Sweden, Norway, and Finland from early February 2012.
The new REDTRAY team will initially operate from offices in the Danish cities of Randers and Copenhagen.
Jeffrey Smithies, Channel Director at REDTRAY, says, "In mid-2011 we noticed there had been a number of learners in Europe booking on 'bite-sized' virtual instructor-led sessions. We did some research and identified this as a key market for immediate expansion. The Nordic region seemed the perfect focus area because of its openness to adopting new technologies and learning methods."
Eva Fredborg, Head of Sales for REDTRAY in the Nordic countries, believes that local businesses require a new, modern form of training delivery that will not only save them time and money but will also provide quality learning for their employees and enhance their efficiency at work.
Jeffrey Smithies explains that a live online learning solution has the potential to transform current training methods and move them to a new dimension - the "cloud", where current training barriers such as location, time, and travel don't exist.
According to Ms. Fredborg, some of the traditional training providers in the Nordic countries have adopted elements of the cloud, but ones that are very basic. She believes the CloudRooms is an innovative training-technology solution in northern Europe because it can deliver classroom training in the virtual space.
Thomas Binder, Head of Business Transformation at REDTRAY in the Nordic region, adds, "What attracted us about REDTRAY is its practical approach to training. It combines its cloud-based training solution with an all-encompassing learning-management system, ALTO, making virtual training very tangible and measurable."
