Blackboard Teaching & Learning Conference
Antwerp (BE), April 2012 - Blackboard invites users to Antwerp for the Blackboard Teaching & Learning Conference 2012, being held 23-25 April. This conference is the largest Blackboard event of the year in Europe, and participants can meet experts, connect with peers, and hear about Blackboard's product roadmap.
The 2012 conference will combine presentations from Blackboard users, experts from Blackboard, a series of complimentary hands-on training sessions, as well as valuable networking opportunities.
The event is geared toward educators, course designers, system administrators, and eLearning managers from higher and further-education institutions across Europe. Blackboard executives as well as representatives from Blackboard's Support, Technical, Consulting Services, Marketing, Sales and Managed Hosting teams will be at the event.
In addition to the Conference, participants are invited to attend the Developers Day Workshop. The Developers Day sessions cover topics relevant to Blackboard developers, system administrators, and other technical individuals.
Participants learn how to enhance their Blackboard virtual-learning environment by using plugins, APIs, web services, open standards, and other product capabilities to integrate with other campus systems, extend new functionality to students and instructors, and meet an institution's specific customization and administration requirements.
Sessions will accommodate the specific interests of the audience based on a survey to be administered closer to the event.
