Information and Communication Technologies Conference

Tunis (Tunisia), April 2012 - The purpose of the TICET 2012 conference, being held 07-10 May 2012 in Tunis, is to bring together international experts and researchers specialized in Education and Training Technologies (ETT) and enable them to present their research, studies, expertise, and experiences.




Information and Communications Technology (ICT) is increasingly becoming an important means of education and training due to its flexibility and ability to enrich education and training. It has become an important topic for adoption in the development of officials and decision-makers.

This conference invites participants to gain awareness of the latest developments and challenges related to ETT and to be introduced to case studies of the use of ETT in academia and industry.

The TICET 2012 conference focuses on the following issues related to ETT:

  • studying international experience (past)
  • exploring outstanding current issues and associated developments (present)
  • viewing prospects and the associated initiatives and international projects (future)
  • examining the use of ETT in the Arab World (past, present, and future).

The TICET 2012 conference intends to study the relationship between ETT (as a means and as a subject) and the following issues:

  • the development of scientific research,
  • the development of educational curricula and training,
  • planning and implementation of operational, educational, and training policies.
