Third Conference on New Horizons in Education

Prague (CZ), May 2012 - This conference - abbreviated "INTE 2012" - is an international forum for academics, teachers, and educators that diffuses knowledge and research and also leads new developments in educational sciences. This year's edition is being held at the Dorint Hotel Don Giovanni, Prague, Czech Republic, 05-07 June.



INTE 2012 will promote the development and dissemination of theoretical knowledge, conceptual research, and professional knowledge through the Conference activities as well as the book of the proceedings. It will provide a multinational platform where the latest trends in education can be presented and discussed in a friendly environment in which the attendees can learn from each other. Prospective presenters are encouraged to submit proposals for papers and posters or demonstrations that offer new research or theoretical contributions.

Invited keynote speakers include Prof. Dr. Petek Askar of the TED University, and topics of interest include but are not limited to distance education, developmental psychology, classroom-teacher education, instructional design, art, science, and language education, as well as educational administration.

Presentations should be in Czech, Turkish, English, Italian, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, or Russian and should address both theoretical issues and new research findings. A brief English abstract is required for each submission, and presentations should be done in English. The submission process will also be in English.

In 2011, INTE received almost 450 applications, of which the academic advisory board accepted 244. Full paper submission and registration ends 30 May.

All paper presentations will be published in an online proceedings book, and the selected papers will be published in the Online Journal of New Horizons in Education and the Turkish Online Journal of Educational Technology.
