Award-Winning Solutions for Education
New York, NY (USA), May 2012 - McGraw-Hill Education has announced that three of its digital solutions have won four awards at this year's annual Software and Information Industry Association's (SIIA) 2012 CODiE Awards in educational technology.
The CODiE Awards hold the distinction of being the industry's only peer-reviewed awards program. It provides winners with a unique opportunity to be recognized and honored by companies they respect and with whom they often compete.
McGraw-Hill School Education won in the following categories.
McGraw-Hill Everyday Mathematics ePlanner Deluxe with ePresentations and eToolkit won for Best Educational Use of a Device-Specific Application. Everyday Mathematics is used in pre-K-6 classrooms across the United States by more than four million children. For teachers, the ePlanner simplifies and shortens the process of creating and organizing classroom lessons, while ePresentations and eToolkit provide interactive whiteboard tools for each lesson to guide classroom instruction.
McGraw-Hill Networks is a new middle and high school social studies learning system that combines engaging print and digital resources to help students discover and learn essential social studies content. With a library of online resources, the program transforms social studies instruction and learning into an exciting and interactive experience through audio, video, and other collaborative multimedia features. Networks won for Best K-12 Course or Learning Management Solution category.
McGraw-Hill Higher Education's Tegrity Campus won for Best Post-Secondary Enterprise Solution in addition to being named an overall top winner for Best Postsecondary Solution. Tegrity Campus is the only cloud-based, fully automated and searchable lecture-capture solution proven to improve student achievement, satisfaction, retention, and recruitment across institutions.
