Brighton (UK), October 2014 - Learn Appeal, the eLearning industry charity, has announced the appointment of Lesley Price as its new Chief Executive. A veteran with over thirty years' experience, Price will lead on stakeholder engagement, creating awareness and fundraising initiatives across the learning community to support educational causes worldwide.
Technology-enabled learning has the potential to change lives, and this is central to Learn Appeal’s mission. Founder of Learn Appeal and CEO of Learning Technologies Group plc (LTG) Jonathan Satchell said, "I speak on behalf of our Board of Trustees when I say we are delighted to have Lesley Price as our new Chief Executive. Price said, "I am extremely proud to be appointed as the new CEO of Learn Appeal. It is an excellent charity, working with a number of worthwhile causes, and it will be a privilege to guide its future activities and support its growth. I have worked across many different facets of education during my career and am thrilled to put this experience and insight to good use. Everybody has the right to learn, and I am looking forward to turning this vision into a reality." Learn Appeal is actively engaging with eLearning organisations across the industry.
