The Next Generation of Off-the-Shelf eLearning
Southampton (UK), December 2014 - With outstanding contributions from leading industry professionals and recommendations from our valued customers, Jenison is releasing a new generation of off-the-shelf eLearning courses. The new MS Office range has increased interactive capabilities and improved user experience. This is part of a programme to embrace the growing need for interactive courses and creative course design.
These are the most versatile courses Jenison has developed yet. They allow learners to engage with the content in their own way and really take the lead in what they want to learn and how they want to learn it.
The first of these new, improved eLearning resources are in our IT Skills range. Launching a new set of Microsoft Office 2013 courses this month, they meet the evolving requirements of today’s IT users. The Excel and Publisher for beginners have just been released, with the Outlook and Word versions to be released before Christmas.
With over eighty new, touch-screen-optimised eLearning titles to be introduced for spring 2015, all to include new and innovative features. The exciting introduction includes fully interactive Cue Cards, video walkthroughs, and Helen Quigley, the new voice of Jenison’s IT titles, one of the voices of Google.
One of the key new features to develop course interactivity and user experience is the unique Cue Card function, developed in house by Jenison's team of developers.
What are Cue Cards?
Helen Quigley: Designed to work in conjunction with Jenison’s brand new Microsoft 2013 – IT Range, Cue Cards are fully interactive, fully comprehensive learning resources intended to help users get to grips with Office 2013. The functionality of all the tools within Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, are broken down. Whether writing a report, starting a spreadsheet, creating a presentation, or scheduling a meeting, Cue Cards will make using Office 2013 even easier.
What makes Cue Cards special?
Helen Quigley: Cue Cards are interactive learning tools that allow the user to discover the varying functionality of all the features in Office 2013. Simply by pressing on the icon you wish to explore, a pop-up window will appear that defines the purpose of the feature. Sometimes, special icons take you to new tabs or open a range of options that are possible to explore. Whether used alongside Jenison’s new IT range or whilst working with an Office 2013 product, Cue Cards allow you to get the most out of each programme.
