Dublin, July 2005 - WBT Systems has continued its expansion in South Africa with its partner, LeadTrain. LeadTrain - through the acquisition of the IOCORE eLearning division - has already carried out a number of successful implementations of the TopClass eLearning suite at major organisations in South Africa.
Implementations include Alexander Forbes, Anglo American, Liberty Group, and the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA). Many of these earlier deployments are now being expanded and upgraded.
LeadTrain has over 180,000 registered Learning Management System (LMS) users, which makes it one of the largest vendors of learning solutions in South Africa. The company has been providing learning and performance management solutions since 2001, mainly through their hosted application platform that caters to the requirements of the South African regulatory environment as set out in the National Qualifications Framework.
