L&D often says it must get closer to the business to survive. Intensely practical, this session avoids theory and instead gives five examples of how L&D has succeeded in performing a transformational role in the business rather than offering a programme of courses.

Not every example will work for you but, from the variety of demonstrated approaches and ideas you will be able to begin building your unique strategy.

We will discuss the upsides and the downsides of each approach and share delegates' contexts, so that the outcomes are both practical and realistic. Participants should be ready to share their own successes in this area! The knowledge in the room is always greater than any one individual's perspective.
