2025 Fosway 9-Grid™ for Learning Systems
London (UK), March 2025 - Fosway Group, Europe’s #1 HR industry analyst, has released its 2025 9-Grid™ for Learning Systems. The research shows that despite a challenging economic climate and ongoing caution from vendors around growth and expansion, the opportunities and disruption caused by AI will likely see accelerated growth across all segments.
Revealing the market and solution trends in the learning systems market, the 2025 9-Grid report shows that while AI is by far the dominant topic of conversation and will probably remain so for several cycles uptake and adoption is yet to match the attendant hype around the tech. However, even though adoption may not be widespread yet, the need for an AI roadmap, at the very least, is non-negotiable now. Corporates are rapidly accelerating their exploration and engagement with AI, and from a vendor perspective, the risk of falling behind is significant.
"Our research this year again shows that trends such as AI, skills and personalisation are now deeply embedded in the purpose and roadmaps for learning systems." Said David Wilson, CEO of Fosway Group, "The Learning Systems market has always been highly competitive, but the opportunity to disrupt the market is still significant. Corporate expectations of their solutions has never been higher, and despite all the innovation, vendors are struggling to meet those expectations especially around experience and skills, and also now for AI."
The 2024 Fosway 9-Grid for Learning Systems incorporates both Learning System Suites and Specialists. Suites are platforms that support a broad range of traditional and next generation learning approaches. Specialists focus on specific areas of capability with a disruptive high impact agenda.
This year’s 9-Grid sees the addition of several new vendors including US-based LearnOps specialist Cognota, and German suite vendor MasterPlan. Two rebrands have taken place LMS365 has become Zensai, and Syfadis is now Bealink.
Fosway’s CEO, David Wilson, and senior analyst, Fiona Leteney, will take questions on the research in a live online 'Ask The Analyst' session on 19 March 2025 at 3pm GMT.
