U&I Learning Captures European Prize
Ghent (BE), March 2007 - U&I Learning, the Ghent-based eLearning integrator operating in Belgium and the Netherlands, has again been recognized for its outstanding accomplishments, being granted a silver European Seal of eExcellence award at the European Multimedia Forum (EMF). The EMF is an important European non-profit organisation that supports digital media industries.
The European eExcellence Award is given each year to ICT and multimedia companies who have exceptional experience and expertise in innovative marketing solutions. For U&I Learning, the Silver Award confirms the company's innovative approach to both services and product development.
The European eExcellence Award was presented for the fifth time and was created by the European Multimedia Associations Convention (EMMAC). EMMAC is a European network that lists over 5000 ICT and multimedia companies. EMMAC members sit on the jury and select winners by means of a transparent selection process that focuses on the innovative character of the proposed solution. In 2006. companies such as Amadeus-Navicore-Strato and Zanox were recipients of the award.
The winners of this year's European eExcellence Award were announced on 13 March 2007, and a public award ceremony was organised on 15 March 2007 at the CeBit trade fair.
Francis Declercq, CEO of U&I Learning explains, "eLearning underwent an important development in the past few decades. This development has especially been influenced by the most recent internet technologies and the high-speed acceptance of the internet and ICT in all facets of our society. As developers of eLearning solutions, we have to be innovative to keep our products attractive and varied. We have to play along with the most recent trends.
