eLearning for Life is a branch foundation of eLearning for Kids and will primarily focus on courses for computing, career/life skills, and learning/innovation skills. eLearning for Life course offerings range from developing skills for searching the Internet and learning Microsoft Office 2007 to an environmental-skills course about Global Warming.

Nick van Dam, Founder and Chairman of the EFK foundation, had the vision to create this new foundation to complement the core K-6 curriculum of eLearning for Kids. "It is so important in today's global environment that children learn the basics of education and can then continue to learn on an ongoing basis as they get older. We are happy to be able to expand our basic-skills curriculum with these first set of courses at eLearning for Life.

We will continue to expand the offerings, but these first set of courses will bring computing literacy to teenagers all over the world - a requirement for future success - by developing skills in search, interpersonal-communications skills, and the presentation of ideas", says Nick.

eLearning for Kids was established in 2004, and the courseware is also available in Spanish, French, Portuguese, and Indian English. In 2010, more than two million children benefitted from one or more EFK courses. The large volunteer staff consists of education and eLearning experts and business professionals from around the world who are committed to making a difference.
