IITT Announces Details of First Masterclass

Coventry (UK), March 2011 - The IITT - an institute for learning and development professionals - has announced the details of the first in a series of Masterclass webinars that will run throughout 2011. The webinar entitled "Why the Learning Profession Needs to Re-Evaluate its Role" is presented by learning thought leader Charles Jennings.

Charles Jennings' career includes roles as head of the UK national centre for networked learning, professor at Southampton Business School, senior business roles for global companies, and evaluator for the European Commission's learning, performance, and eCommerce research initiatives. Jennings has an impeccable record of developing and implementing leading-edge performance solutions spanning more than 25 years. In February 2011, he was presented with the Colin Corder Award for outstanding services to learning at the annual IITT Awards.

The webinar will be streamed live on 07 April 2011 and explores the changing role of the L&D function and suggest ways in which it can develop to become more effective as a strategic part of the organisation.
