The Future of Education
Florence (IT), April 2011 - The international conference "The Future of Education" takes place in Florence on 16 - 17 June 2011. The event promotes the sharing of good practice and transnational cooperation in the field of the application of innovative education and training strategies, methodologies, and solutions.
The conference is also an excellent opportunity for the presentation of previous and current language-learning projects and innovative initiatives funded by the European Commission and by other sources. Early bird registration ends 22 April.
The Future of Education conference focuses on the following topics:
- innovative teaching and learning methodologies
- education and new technologies
- media-literacy education
- eLearning
- distance education
- human-computer interaction
- learning games
- art education
- music education
The accepted abstracts, grouped by the topics above, can already be found online, as well as a list of participants.
At the Future of Education conference there will be three presentation modalities: oral and poster presentations (in-person), and virtual for those who cannot attend. An ISBN publication will be produced with all the accepted papers.
