Project Agency Expands its eLearning Offering
London (UK), July 2011 - Project-management training and development specialist Project Agency has expanded its eLearning offerings by publishing "Project Planning", a new module that shows how to break a project into its component parts and stresses the importance of predecessor relationships. It also includes a practical, simple-to-use system for planning projects.
Ron Rosenhead, Project Agency's chief executive, explains, "This development is in line with our strategy of publishing short project-management-related eLearning modules. We want to publish low-cost, high-quality materials so that many people can access these important modules."
Rosenhead also suggests that the course can be useful for an individual, a project team, or a specific group of staff who need to develop their project-planning skills.
Priced at £25 and available from Project Agency's eLearning portal, the module complements the company's "Perfect Project" course, which was launched earlier this year. The course is intended for those who want to develop their project- management skills and understand what lies beneath successful project delivery.
Project Agency's eLearning materials combine reading material, activities (with model answers), audio commentary, video, on-screen guidance, and assessments to enable learners to
- use a standardised framework for defining, planning and controlling projects,
- recognise the role(s) they play and define other people's contribution to the project management process,
- recognise and reduce risks within all types of project work, and
- use a range of tools related to project management.
"Delivering your plan is key to project success", says Rosenhead, "so we believe that makes Project Planning a 'must do' course."
