Kineo and Tesco Present at European Totara Conference
Brighton/London (UK), September 2011 - Kineo and Tesco will be doing a joint presentation to the European Totara LMS Conference on 28 September 2011 in London. Jane Williams from Tesco and Sven Laux from Kineo will be presenting a case study on the benefits of adopting an open-source LMS solution in a corporate enterprise.
Tesco, the UK's largest private-sector employer, have selected and implemented Totara LMS with support from Kineo. Totara LMS will be used by Tesco to roll out learning resources to all staff both in the UK and globally, using a phased approach. Tesco chose Totara to provide a rich end-user experience.
They are also managing face-to-face classroom courses through Totara and are piloting an induction site for Tesco Phone Stores with the platform. Kineo developed a custom implementation for Tesco and provides full hosting and support services.
The Totara LMS Conference is an event that brings together Totara partners, customers, and potential customers to network, interact, and learn from each other. It aims to enable learning professionals from across a wide range of industries to discuss and share their experiences. They will also highlight strategies for maximising the value of Totara, the open- source LMS for enterprises based on Moodle.
The Conference is free to attend, but spaces are limited.
