London (UK), September 2022 - Cornerstone OnDemand, a global leader in adaptive HR solutions, is further strengthening its executive leadership team as part of its mission to power the future ready workforce. New hires include Deepika Rayala, joining as Chief Digital and Information Officer; Carina Cortez, as Chief People Officer; and Marc Ramos as Chief Learning Officer. Additionally, within Cornerstone, Toya del Valle has moved into her new role as Chief Customer Officer.
These new appointments represent an exciting time in Cornerstone's journey, following the recent acquisitions of EdCast and SumTotal. They bring with them a combined experience of over 70 years in areas such as HR, customer success, information technology, and business transformation.
Marc Ramos brings more than 25 years of experience as a global learning leader from some of today's most prominent technology and services brands, including Google, Microsoft, Accenture, Oracle, and, most recently, Novartis. Given his additional experience as a client, working for hallmark technology leaders, and as a learning industry thought leader, Marc will help guide Cornerstone's learning and technology mission.
Carina Cortez joins Cornerstone with more than 20 years of experience working with people, having previously held HR positions at Glassdoor, PayPal, and Visa. Carina's passion lies in working with leaders to address business and strategic challenges head on - coming up with innovative, practical, and sustainable solutions. Carina has a drive to understand the human capital implications to achieve an overall business strategy.
Deepika Rayala is an IT executive with more than 20 years of experience spanning global delivery, strategy and roadmaps, business transformation, and more. Deepika is passionate about advancing women in technology and leadership, as well as supporting ERGs (employee resource groups). She is a mentor for Women's Unlimited and a member of WITI. She is also the executive sponsor for the Embrace ERG for people of colour.
Toya del Valle is a tenured leader with nearly a decade of leading customer success at Cornerstone. She leads the strategy that defines customer success and customer centricity. Toya and her team partner closely with all customer-facing functions across the globe, with an unwavering focus on making it easy for customers to succeed, both with Cornerstone's solutions and in their journey with the company. She is also a key leader in Cornerstone's Integration Management Office, guiding acquisition integration planning and execution with an emphasis on culture, processes, systems, and knowledge integration.
