Henriette KlootsLondon (UK), October 2016 - The Learning & Performance Institute (LPI), a major accreditation and membership body for the learning sector, is pleased to announce the appointment of Henriette Kloots as Global Channel Manager.

Henriette will be responsible for implementing the LPI's international strategy, building upon existing relationships and forging new ones to increase the LPI's presence within the global learning-and-development market. Henriette will report into Kelly Davis, the LPI's Director of Sales and Marketing.

Having previously held international L&D consulting roles in various organisations such as Booking.com and Accenture, Henriette has recently enjoyed significant success as the LPI's strategic partner in the Benelux region (overseeing the LPI accreditation programme).

Commenting on the new appointment, LPI Managing Director, Edmund Monk, said, "Henriette brings a wealth of international business-development experience and will be a significant asset to our fast-growing team at the LPI.

"Having worked as a specialist learning-and-development advisor in various companies, she has the perfect blend of consultative and networking skills that will enable us to capitalise upon the strategic business opportunities that we are developing in the international market.

"The LPI is an internationally focused organisation with professional members, partner organisations, and networks that reach across the globe. Henriette is the natural choice to head up the LPI's mission to raise the global profile of workplace learning."

Clearly excited about her new role with the LPI, Henriette said, "Developing the L&D profession is the one thing that drives me. Can you imagine being able to help the L&D profession develop themselves with an amazing team like the LPI, an institute that has constantly shown their focus on quality and continuous development of our industry? As partner in the Benelux, I have seen what we can do for L&D professionals, and I am so grateful to be part of this. Now imagine being asked to help develop the Institute globally! That is one of my biggest professional dreams coming true here, and I could not be more excited and eager to get started."
